"Squeak," the neighbourhood squirrel has found a good collection of peanuts at a cabin at Emma Lake, Saskatchewan. He can be found jumping over the banister 30 to 40 times a day. Squeak has been visiting this cabin for a few years.
Notice the nut in his mouth.
Emma Lake is just beyond Prince Albert, quite close to Prince Albert National Park. The ice is still quite thick (2 to 2.5 feet), and will break up in a week or two.
