I took this series of picture about 45 kilometers outside of Saskatoon on the Saturday before the main Perseids meteor shower on Sunday. It was more difficult than I thought to balance all of the elements just right.
In this picture, you'll find:
- six meteors
- star trails from a 30 minute exposure
- two navigation lights from two airplanes.
- the northern lights (greeny purple).
